The power of voice.
Ever since I was a teenager, I cherished every opportunity to speak in front of a gathering audience. Whether preaching in my home church, leading liturgical songs in my youth group, or starring in plays, I felt a unique pull to the stage. I later learned just how sacred and potentially transformative it could be for a speaker to weave together science, storytelling, and solutions––to inspire and empower others to change themselves and their worlds.
Today, I travel the world, speaking to groups of all sizes and all ages; in workshops, seminars, retreats, and conferences; on topics related to healing ourselves, healing each other, and healing our world. The stories I tell and the experiences I cover tackle major issues like leadership, transformation, resilience, belonging, identity, dignity, compassion, communication, conflict, crisis, shame, harm, accountability, repair, healing, and hope.
